Architecture
Preparing for your Installation
When the flooring is delivered, it will be divided into small lots and stored in the rooms where it will be installed. It can take up to a week or more for solid wood flooring to acclimate and reach a balance with its surroundings, 2 to 3 days for engineered flooring. No acclimation is necessary for most laminate or vinyl flooring.
Wood flooring should never be unloaded or stored unprotected in rain, snow or other wet conditions. When receiving a shipment of hardwood flooring, pull out several sample boards and use a hand-held moisture meter to measure their moisture content. The figure should be between 6-9%. If it doesn’t, let wood products adjust to the site before installation.

Construction Management
Installation
We perform every type of installation, including nail down (into plywood subfloor), glue down (good over concrete), and floating installations (over concrete, marble or other hard surfaces). We’ll handle any necessary repair prior to installation, such as leveling of subfloors, repairing or replacing existing subfloors. And we offer mouldings to match, as well as paint grade moulding to blend in with walls or trim.
We guarantee workmanship for one year on all our installations (plus material warranty). On the installation of any unfinished floor, we guarantee the finish for seven years.
